Mom needed new headshots (hers are 15 yrs old), so we went back to see Jackie to have mum's makeup done. Spent the afternoon doing her photo shoot. I've never done portrait photography, only landscape, but they turned out pretty well. Took 100 photos. Will post the ones we select shortly.

Living in NYC prevents our using an outdoor grill -- we have and indoor electric. Therefore, I've never grilled on an outdoor grill.....until tonight. Made yummy burgers. However, mom's neighbor, Keith, was worried about my being outside in the impending doom of a major thunderstorm.

Storm hit. And it was a doozy. Lost power around 11pm. Had to take Buddy out with a flashlight.
