Started out the day helping mom remove some shrubs and repair the toilet tank.

After that, I drove to Charlotte to visit my college roommates from senior year -- Jamie and John.

They were the best roommates ever! We had separate bathrooms, and, for the most part, separate wings of the apartment. Played spades every night.

Jamie's teaching middle and high schoolers at a private school for children with learning disabilities, dating Jane, single mom of 3 boys.

John's a personal trainer/yoga instructor, dating neighbor Chris.
